Dear brothers, sisters and friends,

I would like to thank Dan and Phoebe again for their warm accommodation. Also thank Ingrid and Heidi for leading the singspiration and games. I had a lot of fun, hope you all feel the same!

For next Saturday, we are going to have a joint program with Elim.
Topic: 兩代價值觀的分歧
We will focus on
A) Dating/marriage/family &
B) Career/ministry/meaning of life

Representatives from Enoch and Elim will present the ways of thinking of their generations.
Dan will be the moderator on what is presented and discussed then formulates thought provoking questions.

Please pay attention to the following:
We will be meeting at Spring Campus and potluck dinner will start at 5:30pm.
Remember to bring a dish when you want to join the dinner.
Program will start at 7pm.

Enoch Fellowship wants to let you know this Saturday, Oct. 16, Enoch Fellowship will be OFF for a 2- days Cantonese Congregation RETREAT. Hopfully, you have registered for the retreat with Wendy by now and I'm sure you will have a FRUITFUL time at the retreat.

"Show me the Money", Saturday Oct. 9 ("哪裡有錢途?")

Enoch Fellowship wants to let you know this Saturday, Oct. 9, Enoch Fellowship will have the following  terrific programs:

 

Big Group: "Show me the Money"  (a workshop with video & some biblical teaching)

--what's it all about? It will predict the economic of next couples of year and how do us Christians can invest.

 

Small Group: First Day Start Off for our 2 new groups

Bowling at Playdrome, Saturday Sept. 18 (打保齡)

Enoch Fellowship wants to let you know this Saturday, Sept.18, Enoch Fellowship will have a FUN "Bowling" activity from 2pm-4pm at the following location:

Enoch got a special off from them, which is the group rate $50 for 2 hours (includes a pizza and unlimited number of drink), which mean everybody will only be chipping in "some" money (for example, if we have 10 people going, then each of us just chip in for $5 and that includes a piece of pizza and unlimited number of drink). So, please feel free to invite as many friends/relatives as you want to this bowling game and contact Terrence at tmsu1@yahoo.com for registration, ride arrangement, or any question by Friday 6pm if you didn't register at our last Saturday's fellowship.

Our new small group series is going to start on 10/9, it is time for you to pick which small group you want to join.
In case you missed our small group launch last Saturday, let me give you a very brief introduction to both small groups.

1. Enoch's Book Club 書香處處
Leaders: Dan, Juliet, Kannis, Ronald
We have come up with 2 books. Members will select which one they prefer to read
first. Each time, the leader will give a summary and lead the sharing.

Outing at Nockamixon

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

How's your week so far? If you've missed Daniel's talk on Buddhism last Saturday, you can download the slides from https://www.box.net/shared/ deo3mqxlcq

You are invited to join our outing this week.

Where: Nockamixon State Park. About 1 hour away from Philadelphia. 

When: This Saturday, 8/28, 10am - 3pm. I suggest every one to meet at church (Vine) at 8:30am.

What to do: Singspiration, group games, hiking, biking, boating, horseback riding, fishing...

What to bring: sunscreen, water, snacks, yourself and friends

What's for lunch: BBQ, fruits, soda

How much: the park is free but we will share the cost of food. Expect to be $6-$8.

Here is a brief description of the park. 

The 5,286-acre Nockamixon State Park is in the rolling hills of scenic Bucks County, close enough to Philadelphia for a day trip, but far enough away for a vacation. Tohickon Creek, Three Mile Run and Haycock Run feed the 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon, which is a rest stop for migrating waterfowl and a destination for boaters and anglers. Visitors can stay the night in a cabin or enjoy the many activities of the park for the day. Popular activities are picnicking, visiting the pool, hiking, biking and boating.

So far there are 15 of us signed up. If you want to come but still haven't signed up yet, please reply to me as soon as you can, or by Wednesday the latest. We need to prepare food, drinks, etc.
