This Saturday, Mary, Steven, & Kannis will lead us a bible study on "Gift to Serve".
We will read Exodus 35:31-35 and see how our Lord will prepare us with amazing gifts.

Also, on 11/01, Angela and John invite us to their house gathering.
Just reply John's e-invite and you are good to go.

For dinner on Saturday, we will order from天旺: 豆腐斑塊, 洋蔥豬扒, 腰果肉丁, 蔥油雞

對症下藥 - Workshop on Peer Counseling

We are happy to have Ben and Becky here with us on 12/6 as our workshop speakers. The topic is 對症下藥. It will be a more in-depth discussion of caring - focus mainly on peer counseling.

Do you still remember the case of Jeffrey, Jenny and Jin during our discussion led by Terrence and Kelvin last week? Do you have a similar situation where you wanted to give advice to a brother or sister but you didn't know what's the right way to say it because you were afraid that he or she might get offended? or did someone ever point out your issue and give you advice but you felt offended?

I am sure you all have these kind of experiences before. In order to make our workshop more interactive and practical, I would like to gather your question/experience and send it to Ben. Your question will stay anonymous. You can either leave your question as a comment to this post or email us at enoch.cccnc@gmail.com no later than 11/22.

10/18 Mission Conference 差傳年會

Hi friends of Enoch,

 

Our church is holding an annual mission conference this Saturday (4:00-9:00) and Sunday (2:00-3:00).

Enoch will attend the Saturday session as a group together.

 

Mr Walt White, an American Baptist missionary in the Muslim world,

will share a message on "Muslim Mission – Climbing Walks and Building Bridges".

 

There are also three workshops on Saturday,

namely "How to Share Gospel with Family?", "Reaching the World through Internet", and "Jgospel.net Mission".

 

Let's go, listen, and response to the Lord's will.

We have great programs again this Saturday.

Big group: we will play games and think about how we can care the others.
Small groups: Dan will lead us to think about "Man as a tri-unity" .
We will also talk about how being self-centered and Christ-centered will change us.
Angela & John will share how we can be ready and mature for dating.
