Please pick your small group!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Our new small group series is going to start on 10/9, it is time for you to pick which small group you want to join.
In case you missed our small group launch last Saturday, let me give you a very brief introduction to both small groups.

1. Enoch's Book Club 書香處處
Leaders: Dan, Juliet, Kannis, Ronald
We have come up with 2 books. Members will select which one they prefer to read
first. Each time, the leader will give a summary and lead the sharing.

Expectations: both small groups expect our members to participate and take turns
to lead.

Outing at Nockamixon

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

How's your week so far? If you've missed Daniel's talk on Buddhism last Saturday, you can download the slides from https://www.box.net/shared/ deo3mqxlcq

You are invited to join our outing this week.

Where: Nockamixon State Park. About 1 hour away from Philadelphia. 

When: This Saturday, 8/28, 10am - 3pm. I suggest every one to meet at church (Vine) at 8:30am.

What to do: Singspiration, group games, hiking, biking, boating, horseback riding, fishing...

What to bring: sunscreen, water, snacks, yourself and friends

What's for lunch: BBQ, fruits, soda

How much: the park is free but we will share the cost of food. Expect to be $6-$8.

Here is a brief description of the park. 

The 5,286-acre Nockamixon State Park is in the rolling hills of scenic Bucks County, close enough to Philadelphia for a day trip, but far enough away for a vacation. Tohickon Creek, Three Mile Run and Haycock Run feed the 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon, which is a rest stop for migrating waterfowl and a destination for boaters and anglers. Visitors can stay the night in a cabin or enjoy the many activities of the park for the day. Popular activities are picnicking, visiting the pool, hiking, biking and boating.

So far there are 15 of us signed up. If you want to come but still haven't signed up yet, please reply to me as soon as you can, or by Wednesday the latest. We need to prepare food, drinks, etc.

This Saturday, August  21, Enoch Fellowship have the following  :
 
Big Group:  "What's Buddhism All About?"
--do you know what's the origin, development, and influence of Buddism; if not, come and listen; feel free to invite your friends and relatives who may want to know the difference between Buddhism and Christianity

 從唐人街出發的話，要大約一小時的車程
 這公園有出租船和自行車玩，又可以行山、BBQ 。。。。 

 請鼓勵親朋戚友們來參與，並在星期三前  與Terrence 或 Amanda 報名，他們是需要預早購買食物。
