Bible Study this Saturday - 事奉的團隊

Dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters,

How are you doing?

You are invited to our bible study this Saturday. This will be lesson
#6 of Live to Serve series. The topic is 事奉的的團隊 Paul and Barnabas (Acts
9): (Chapter 44).

Before we begin our bible study, we will have our 2009 core group
dedication. Brothers and sisters are encouraged to attend and pray for
the core group together.

Upcoming events:
1/17 - Big Group/Small Group. The big group topic is 不一樣的愛﹐相約在雲南. Ben and Becky will share about their mission trip experience in the AIDS village in China
1/24 - Game/Sharing Night
1/31 - CSM Fellowship Night

Please reply to me if you want to join us for dinner this Saturday. We
will order take out from Tin Wong. Feel free to bring your own dinner too.

Don't forget, our dinner starts at 6 and program starts at 7. Please be punctual.

Fellowship Off this Saturday / Sunday School begins this Sunday

Dear all,

I would like to tell you that we will be off this Saturday. Please
join our bible study on the next Saturday 1/10.

The new Sunday School classes begin this Sunday. The classes are listed below.

I encourage you to come early on Sunday morning, classes start at
9:30am, to attend one of the classes and grow in God's word.

For fellowship coworkers, I strongly encourage you to attend 團契同工訓練
led by Dan and teaching assistants which starts next Sunday 1/11.

A Seminar for CSM Fellowship Officers

(To be conducted during Sunday School, January to March, 2009)

Purpose: To gather all CSM fellowship leaders under one roof, to
revisit some basic principles of a healthy fellowship, and to receive
practical and implementable training on the organization, nurture and
overseeing of fellowships, and the caring of the fellowship members

FORMAT: Lectures, research, case studies,
panel discussions & Q&A
AUDIENCE: All current CSM fellowship officers
(co-workers and advisors)
COMMITMENT: Must attend at least 80% of sessions;
completion of assignments & active participation
SESSIONS: A total of 11, January to March, 2009

12/27 - Christmas Celebration

12/20 program -- Seminar on Caring thru Visitation/Small Group

Dear all,

We're glad to have Dan Law to lead a seminar for us on this Saturday. The topic is Caring Through Visitation.
The one-hour seminar will consist of 2 parts:

1) Interview: Dan will interview 2 sisters from Kai Fong Fellowship on how visitations have excited their hearts and changed their lives
2) Short talk: Dan will bring us a few reminders on some do's and don'ts on visitation

Then for small groups:
In the "Dating, Marriage & Courtship" group, John and Angela will lead a discussion on Biblical perspectives in choosing the right marriage partner.
For the "Understanding Oneself & Others" group, Dan will lead a discussion on "Forgiveness and Spiritual Healing".

Dinner will start at 6PM. Please contact Ronald for arrangements.
Program will start at 7PM.
